When I use my DVD Player every 5 minutes it is skippy. And I have to turn it off and start it over again. I would have to do this over 20 times to watch the movie. If I watch the same movie a couple of days later, it goes off without a hitch.
What do I do? Clean it? How would I clean it?

It just started doing this a few days ago. I’ve had it for 3 years, and its only had a few minor errors, here and there but I’ve gotten around them. I need this DVD player for and upcoming trip. Is there a way to get around the error? Connect it to my iPod?

I am taking my Sony portable DVD player on an international trip. Does anyone know where I can get an extra battery for it or a power supply I can use to continue to watch it once the battery for the DVD player runs out? I am flying coach so they dont have power outlets.

The old model is the dvp-fx810. The newer model is the dvd-fx820. Will the battery for the 810 fit the 820?
