How do I know what size adapter can fit my portable dvd player? I lost the original box, and the original charger so I want to buy another one. On the back the only information I see on it says Dc 9-12v and 1A under where it says power source, and I have no clue what that means.

It’s an Audiovox and the model number is d1708.

Is the screen quality a bit different because they are so small or is it b/c the one I bought isn’t the best brand? We bought a portable DVD player (only 6.2″ screen) from Target (Audiovox) and only plan on using it to go on long trips, not every day at all. But, I was watching it just now (for the first time) and it hurts my eyes. Is this normal? Thanks!

I have a portable DVD player that’s about six months old. It’s been taken care of very well, never dropped or anything. It’s an Audiovox brand. I put a disc in and it sounds strange, and it says that the DVD is an invalid disc. I’m putting in store bought DVD’s that are fresh from the cases without scratches on them. I’ve also cleaned the lense with a lense cleaning disc. Any ideas how to fix it?
